Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:




  • Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.




  • Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning plans and individual targets.




  • Supporting children's emotional, social, and behavioural development.




  • Encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom.




  • Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.




  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications/Experience

To succeed in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable)




  • A proactive, empathetic approach and commitment to helping every child reach their potential
