Location: 5-Star Luxury Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
Contract: Seasonal Consulting | Mid-November – Mid-January (with potential extension through Chinese New Year)
About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Cantonese Head Chef to join a luxury hospitality team in Las Vegas for a limited-term consulting engagement.
The role focuses on delivering exceptional, authentic Cantonese and Southeast Asian cuisine for our most valued guests during the peak holiday and Lunar New Year period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of authentic Cantonese dishes, including 1st Wok, 1st Cutter, Dim Sum, and Chinese BBQ specialties.
- Oversee a small culinary team to deliver bespoke, family-style meals for private villas, suites, and exclusive dining experiences.
- Collaborate with property chefs to develop foundational Asian recipes for buffet and dining outlets.
- Ensure consistency, authenticity, and excellence in all culinary offerings.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate special guest requests and irregular service times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef specializing in Cantonese cuisine.
- Strong technical skills across wok, dim sum, and BBQ preparation.
- Must be from Hong Kong or Guangdong province to ensure authentic regional expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small culinary team in a high-end hospitality setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $800 per day consulting fee
