 Key responsibilities for the Manual Miller:

- Interpret engineering drawings and plan manufacturing methods
- Select tooling, fixtures and work-holding equipment
- Produce components using manual milling machinery to precise specifications
- Complete first-off inspections and maintain quality documentation
- Support production targets and record accurate set/run times
- Maintain tooling, gauging and work areas to a high standard
- Follow company procedures, lean practices and all safety requirements
- Work with Production Engineering to maximise efficiency

 
Essential skills for the Manual Miller:

- Proven experience in Manual Milling within a precision engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, dependable approach
- Clear communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining accuracy
