SPORTS CLUB MANAGER

Rome, Italy

Salary: 45,000€ - 60,000€ gross per annum + bonus

A well-established sports club in Rome is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sports Club Manager to lead operations, drive quality standards, and ensure a seamless and high-level member experience.

This role requires a highly proactive, operationally strong professional with solid leadership capabilities and deep knowledge of the Rome market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure high-quality service delivery across all club facilities
• Oversee daily operations with a hands-on approach and high attention to detail
• Build strong working relationships with both internal teams and third-party service providers
• Encourage accountability and performance within the team, ensuring a culture of professionalism and efficiency
• Coordinate and implement events and member engagement activities, contributing to the social and lifestyle offering of the club
• Monitor service standards, maintenance, and general functionality of the club to ensure consistency and excellence
• Develop and maintain supplier and vendor relationships, staying ahead of local trends and seasonal expectations
• Support strategic planning and reporting in collaboration with senior leadership

Candidate profile:

• Based in Rome with established professional connections and experience in the local market
• Previous managerial experience in a sports club, wellness facility, hospitality group, or similar operations-focused environment
• Highly proactive, organized, and capable of working at a fast pace while juggling multiple priorities
• Strong leadership and team management skills – able to motivate and guide staff toward clear goals
• Experience with planning or overseeing member events and club-based programming is highly desirable
• Comfortable working in a lean, agile team where individuals take on varied responsibilities
• Confident, engaging personality with a high level of service orientation and cultural awareness
• Italian and English fluency required
