A new restaurant concept in Amsterdam is preparing to open its doors.

Built with long-term vision and serious culinary intent, this project will operate at a high gastronomic level with wine playing a central role in the guest experience.

This is a pre-opening opportunity for a Sommelier who wants to shape something from day one.

As a sommelier, you will have creative ownership of the wine program from the very beginning.

This is not a maintenance role — this is a build-and-develop position within a focused and quality-driven environment.

You will:

• Build and curate a wine list aligned with the restaurant’s culinary direction
• Develop wine pairings in collaboration with the kitchen
• Be a visible presence on the floor, guiding guests with confidence
• Manage supplier relationships and inventory
• Support and educate the service team in wine knowledge
• Wine is positioned as a core identity element of the concept, not an afterthought.

Who We’re Looking For

• We are seeking a hospitality professional who combines knowledge with personality and floor presence.
• Experience as a Sommelier in a quality-driven restaurant
• Strong international wine knowledge and solid technical foundation
• Confidence in guest interaction and storytelling
• Commercial awareness with a balanced approach to sales
• Fluent English (Dutch is a strong plus; French is an advantage)
• Most importantly, you are motivated by being part of a project in its early stages and contributing to its long-term success.
