We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Chessington, starting ASAP on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities


  • Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs as an SEN Teaching Assistant




  • Work one-to-one or in small groups to support learning, wellbeing, and independence




  • Support the class teacher in implementing tailored strategies and interventions




  • Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's values and policies




  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment as a committed SEN Teaching Assistant





Qualifications/Experience


  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role




  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs




  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach




  • Strong communication and teamwork skills




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
