About the Role/School

We are seeking passionate Teaching Assistants - Aspiring Primary Teacher's to join a two-form entry primary school in Isleworth, Hounslow.

This school is dedicated to nurturing both students and staff and actively supports graduate teaching assistants and aspiring teachers.

The school provides structured training opportunities, including PPA cover experience and career development, to help you grow into a confident educator.


Interventions are implemented to support student learning, and as a Teaching Assistant, you will receive fortnightly training and termly INSET to enhance your skills.

Job Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:




  • Supporting classroom learning under the guidance of the class teacher.




  • Assisting with interventions to enhance student progress.




  • Participating in structured training, PPA cover, and career development opportunities.




  • Supervising students during lunch and playtimes to maintain a safe and supportive environment.




  • Attending fortnightly training sessions and termly INSET days.




  • Working collaboratively with teachers to develop your skills towards becoming a qualified primary teacher.





Qualifications/Experience


  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




No prior teaching experience is required, but enthusiasm for a career in primary education and a desire to develop professionally are essential.
