About the role/school

Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Dartford who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities

The successful Teaching Assistant will:




  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities




  • Provide small group or one-to-one support to pupils where required




  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment




  • Support pupils' academic and personal development




  • Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom organisation




  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning





Qualifications/Experience

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:




  • Previous experience working in a primary school or similar setting




  • A positive and patient approach when supporting children's learning




  • Good communication and teamwork skills




  • A commitment to supporting pupils with a range of learning needs




  • A proactive and flexible attitude




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK
