Registered Manager (Children's Home)

Are you an experienced and motivated Children's Home Manager ready for your next leadership opportunity?

This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established childcare provider known for delivering high-quality care and education to children and young people.

As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day running of a children's home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and high-quality environment where young people can thrive.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £55,000 - £70,000, plus benefits.

The successful candidate must be willing to register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities



* Lead the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and care standards


* Create a warm, nurturing, and family-focused environment that promotes children's wellbeing, development, and education


* Lead, support, and develop a dedicated staff team, encouraging a positive and collaborative culture


* Deliver and maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and quality assurance across the home


* Oversee staffing, rotas, and resources to ensure effective and consistent service delivery


* Ensure all policies, procedures, and governance requirements are implemented and maintained


About You:



* Previously worked as a Children's Home Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager, Home Manager, or in a similar leadership role


* At least 1 year of recent management or supervisory experience within a care setting


* Minimum 2 years' recent experience in children's residential care


* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline


* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office


* A full UK driving licence
