Healthcare Assistant - Wexford

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting experienced Relief Support Workers to support services for individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities located in Wexford and surrounding areas. 

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care to individuals, supporting them to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, inclusion, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist in implementing individual care plans
• Promote independence, choice, and community participation
• Support individuals with emotional and behavioural needs
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support/Nursing Studies or Social Studies
• Over 1 -2 years’ experience in healthcare, home care, or support work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Eligibility to work in Ireland with the requirement of sponsorship
