We are recruiting on behalf of a renowned luxury resort in St.

Lucia seeking an experienced Specialty Sous Chef to lead the culinary operations of its signature Italian restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef with a strong background in authentic Italian cuisine and luxury hospitality to join a dynamic culinary team in one of the Caribbean's premier resort destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Italian specialty restaurant
• Ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu offerings
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen team members to maintain luxury hospitality standards
• Assist with menu development, recipe consistency, and seasonal offerings
• Manage inventory, ordering, food cost controls, and waste reduction initiatives
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous Sous Chef experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale Italian restaurant
• Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
• Proven ability to lead kitchen teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations
• Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Caribbean or international luxury hospitality experience is considered an advantage
