General Operative

 We’re recruiting General Operatives for a well‑established manufacturing business in Pocklington.

This is a hands‑on role with temp‑to‑perm opportunities.

No Weekends!

£13.43 – £15.45 per hour (depending on shift)

 Rotating Shifts:

• Week 1: Mon–Fri, 06:00–14:00
• Week 2: Mon–Thu, 13:45–23:45

Fixed Shift:

• Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:00

The Role

Your main responsibility will be ripping & tipping 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels.

You’ll also support general manufacturing tasks including:

• Basic machine operation
• Quality checks
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Following chemical and process safety procedures
• Helping across different production areas when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable with manual lifting (25kg)
• Good safety awareness
• Reliable, positive and willing to learn
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Production experience helpful but not essential

Due to the location, own transport is required unless you live in Pocklington.
