We’re partnered with an established hospitality group looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead an Italian restaurant in Mill Valley.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who understands Italian cuisine, has a strong background with fresh pasta and wood-fired pizza, and thrives in an operation with established systems and high culinary standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead all culinary operations for the restaurant
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across the menu
• Manage food costs, ordering, inventory, and kitchen labor
• Follow and maintain established recipes, processes, and SOPs
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards are consistently met
• Work closely with restaurant leadership to deliver a strong guest experience
• Recruit, train, and build a high-performing culinary team

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or similar
• Strong background in Italian cuisine
• Must have pasta experience
• Wood-fired pizza oven experience strongly preferred
• Experience working within a structured restaurant group with established systems
• Strong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, and kitchen operations
• Strong understanding of food safety and operational standards
