Project Director - Data Centre ConstructionRiyadh, Saudi ArabiaA leading international construction organisation is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major hyperscale data centre projects in Saudi Arabia.This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding operation delivering some of the Middle East's most significant mission-critical developments.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a major project phase, leading large multidisciplinary teams and driving successful project execution from construction through delivery.The RoleAs Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project whilst ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project teams, driving operational excellence
and supporting the continued growth of the regional business.Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of major hyperscale data centre construction projects.
- Manage project execution across a defined programme phase.
- Oversee operational performance, programme delivery and project milestones.
- Build, develop and lead high-performing project teams.
- Support the recruitment and development of project delivery personnel.
- Work closely with regional leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage senior stakeholders across client, contractor and project teams.

Candidate RequirementsEssential Experience

- Significant experience delivering data centre construction projects.
- Proven hyperscale data centre project delivery experience.
- Track record delivering projects valued at $300M+.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Previous experience working within the Middle East, ideally Saudi Arabia.

Highly Desirable

- General Contractor (GC) background.
- Experience delivering large-scale hyperscale programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale project teams.
- Existing network of industry professionals within the mission-critical market.

Leadership ScopeThe successful candidate will lead a substantial project team and is expected to manage approximately 10 direct reports, including senior managers, commissioning managers and site leadership personnel. Location

- Priority will be given to candidates with previous Middle East project experience.
