Salon Manager – Premium Hair Salon - £40,000/£50,000

Hours: Flexibility required across evenings & weekends

We’re looking for an exceptional Salon Manager to lead a premium, high-performing salon.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and takes real pride in creating an exceptional experience, for both guests and the team.

As the face of the business, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the salon day to day, leading a team of 30+ employees and ensuring the highest standards across operations, service, presentation and team performance.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, confident and genuinely present on the salon floor.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk, we need a visible leader who knows what is happening in the business at all times.

Key responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the salon
• Lead, motivate and manage a team of 30+ staff
• Be a highly visible and approachable presence on the salon floor
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, holidays, sickness and lateness
• Ensure the salon is consistently operating efficiently and to a premium standard
• Take ownership of the guest/client experience, ensuring every client receives an exceptional level of service
• Handle client complaints and resolve issues professionally and effectively
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation and salon environment
• Monitor team standards, punctuality, performance and conduct
• Support with HR-related matters, including attendance, performance and employee issues
• Communicate clearly with senior management and ensure operational priorities are delivered
• Create a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
• Ensure the salon consistently reflects the standards and reputation of a premium brand
