Job Title:             Operations Manager – Events Venue
Salary:                 Up to £70,000
Location:             East Sussex

My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a events venue in East Sussex.

This is a senior, hands-on role covering venue operations, facilities, events, food & beverage outlets, compliance and commercial performance, with responsibility for ensuring the venue delivers exceptional experiences while maximising revenue.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the team and oversee day-to-day operations
• Manage facilities, maintenance, contractors and suppliers
• Mange the Health & Safety, compliance, licensing and risk
• Oversee food & beverage outlets, events and commercial hires
• Manage budgets and drive operational efficiencies
• Driving sales
• Work closely with all departments to deliver outstanding events
• Build relationships with clients, members and key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to grow commercial event revenue

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in venue, hospitality and events
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Event operations and customer service experience
• Commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive revenue
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance and facilities management
• Highly organised, confident and commercially minded
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
