Marketing Planner

Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Marketing Planner with our financial services client in the Newcastle area.

You'll be responsible for translating business priorities into coordinated, multi-channel marketing plans and working closely with stakeholders across the wider business and marketing teams.



This is a permanent position, and the business work a hybrid model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days at home.



Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in marketing planning, campaign management, project management or marketing operations

  • Financial services, fintech or regulated-sector experience is desirable

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities

  • Experience coordinating multi-channel marketing activity

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of marketing performance

  • Experience creating briefs, plans, schedules and reporting

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines

  • Knowledge of CRM, lifecycle marketing or integrated campaign planning desirable



Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated marketing plans and campaign roadmaps

  • Coordinate activity across CRM, Digital, Content, Brand, PR and Communications

  • Translate business objectives into clear marketing briefs and plans

  • Manage timelines, dependencies, risks and competing priorities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and marketing specialists

  • Support campaign prioritisation, governance and performance reporting

  • Track delivery against plans and identify opportunities for optimisation

  • Support quarterly planning and continuous improvement of marketing processes
