Data Management Operations Analyst (13-month FTC)

Job Description:

Our client is looking to appoint a Data Management Operations Analyst on a fixed term basis to deliver a reliable, high-quality data management service, ensuring data is accurate, well-governed and fit for purpose.

You will support internal stakeholders by managing data requests end-to-end, applying governance controls, producing operational reporting and promoting good data practices.

You will build knowledge across multiple data domains over time, supported by training, coaching and on-the-job experience.

Skills/Experience:

• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to deliver accurate and complete data to stakeholders.


• Experience working with a range of Market Data providers such as Bloomberg or LSEG


• Ability to manage day-to-day data delivery to strict deadlines.


• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet their requirements.


• Adaptability, data literacy, team working and an improvement mindset, with the ability to enable others.


• Experience using data management systems would be an advantage.


• Knowledge of reporting tools would be an advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate, timely and complete data across supported data domains.


• Manage data requests and queries through to resolution.


• Perform data quality checks, reconciliations and validations in line with procedures and controls.


• Apply data governance and risk policies and maintain audit evidence and operational records.


• Identify and escalate data quality issues, risks or control breaches.


• Contribute to project and change initiatives when allocated, supporting analysis, testing and documentation.


• Produce operational reporting and management information.


• Promote good data practices through day-to-day interactions.


• Execute tasks within documented procedures, escalating issues outside agreed tolerances.
