Head of Finance – Premium Hospitality Venue

Salary: €60,000–€70,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role

Are you a finance professional looking to take the next step in your career within premium hospitality?

We’re looking for a Head of Finance to join a prestigious hospitality project in Bordeaux.

Reporting directly to senior management, you’ll play a key role in the financial performance of the business, overseeing financial reporting, cash flow, internal controls, and profitability.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational teams and department heads, helping turn financial data into practical business decisions.

With an expanding group and several projects in development, there are also opportunities for future career progression.

The Role

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closings, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• Monitor internal controls across revenue, payments, invoicing, and stock management.
• Manage cash flow and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Analyse margins and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Monitor working capital and support effective financial planning.
• Work closely with the management control team and department heads to improve financial performance.
• Support operational teams in understanding financial results and making informed business decisions.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, and handled confidentially.

About You

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a business school qualification is also suitable.
• At least 3–4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, premium restaurants, or audit with hospitality clients is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial ERP systems such as Sage or SAP.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into practical recommendations.
• Fluent French and English are essential.
