SEN Teacher
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Southall, Ealing
Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 Inner London

About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southall, Ealing, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team ASAP.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a new inclusion base supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including pre-verbal children, alongside pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The successful SEN Teacher will play a key role in developing a supportive, structured learning environment tailored to individual needs, ensuring every pupil can access meaningful learning experiences and make progress towards their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.

The school is a diverse and community-focused primary setting in the London Borough of Ealing, serving pupils from a wide range of backgrounds.

With a strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and individual achievement, the school aims to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

The leadership team is focused on strengthening inclusive provision, developing staff expertise and ensuring pupils with additional needs receive the personalised support they require.

The new inclusion base reflects the school's commitment to meeting a broader range of needs while helping pupils access mainstream education where appropriate.

This SEN Teacher position would suit a committed and adaptable teacher with experience supporting pupils with complex special educational needs, including SLD, communication difficulties and SEMH.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering learning in line with individual EHCP provision, while directing a small team of teaching assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

The inclusion base will initially support a small group of pupils, with additional teaching assistant support as more pupils attend, including opportunities for some pupils to access mainstream learning.

Weekly CPD sessions will provide opportunities to develop your practice and contribute to the ongoing development of this new provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact within a supportive primary school.
