We are recruiting for an exciting People & Culture Manager opportunity with an innovative and growing luxury private business, renowned for delivering exceptional experiences.

We are looking for a passionate, energetic and hands on People & Culture Manager to take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains exceptional talent.

The Role

Working closely with the senior leadership and operational teams, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and effective people strategy across the business.

You will oversee all aspects of HR, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management, ensuring employees feel supported, motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional service.

This is a highly visible, hands on position requiring someone who is equally comfortable developing people initiatives, supporting managers with day to day HR matters and being present within the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all HR activities, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention and offboarding, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation
• Lead end to end recruitment across hospitality, food and beverage, children's activities, operations and management positions, developing effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent aligned with the business's values and service standards
• Develop and deliver engaging induction, training and development programmes, ensuring employees have the skills, confidence and knowledge to provide an exceptional member experience.
  
  Identify skills gaps, support leadership development and create clear career progression opportunities
• Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture, introducing initiatives that improve employee satisfaction, communication, wellbeing and retention.
  
  Ensure the company's values are embedded throughout the employee experience
• Manage HR policies, contracts, employee records, absence management and HR systems, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation, safeguarding requirements and relevant operational standards
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and operational managers, providing practical HR guidance, coaching and support.
  
  Use people data and insights to improve workforce planning, recruitment, training effectiveness and overall business performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in a People & Culture Manager, HR Manager or similar generalist HR position
• A background within luxury hospitality, private members clubs, premium leisure, hotels or another service lead environment
• Strong experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and retention
• A passion for learning and development, with experience creating and delivering effective training programmes
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices
• Experience supporting operational teams within a fast paced, customer facing environment
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
