A children's home based in Tiverton is looking to recruit permanent Support Worker to support their young people.
A residential children's home is a safe and nurturing environment for some of the country's most vulnerable young people.
It should be safe but it should also be fun, healthy and somewhere they enjoy being.
This is why we are looking for energetic, passionate and resilient people who want to extend or start their career in children's homes.
The job is a permanent full time role paying base pay of £30,824 per annum with pay increase post probation and yearly salary reviews.
You will work a mixture of early, lates, weekends, sleep in shifts.
Your role will be to be a positive role model, help the young people in their daily lives, help them manage emotions, stressors and be a positive influence on their view of the world.

Voluntary experience with children and young people
Relevant degree in psychology, counselling, therapy, sociology

About the Role

Requirements:
· Valid UK manual driving license
