As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will work closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption.

To be pro-active, identifying and recommending areas of improvement to achieve the necessary continuity and efficiency of production.

The Candidate

Essential:

• Apprentice Trained



• Higher National Certificate / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering



• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Desirable:

• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate



• FMCG experience



• Fault finding experience.



• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Multi Skilled Engineer

The Role

• To work safely at all times.



• To assist in achieving maximum production efficiency, by using a pro-active approach in preventative / predictive maintenance techniques.



• To keep downtime to a minimum by effectively dealing with breakdowns as and when they occur.



• To carry out all types of engineering installations including; electrical, mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, pipe work.



• To fault find on various equipment



• To make alterations and suggestions for Continuous Improvement.



• To provide drawings, measurements & specifications of spares required.



• To comply and assist with all technical and HACCP requirements to ensure the best product quality.



• To supervise contractor activity where required



• Support and carry out any other reasonable requests as requested by the Engineering Management Team.
