Lead Fire and Security Engineer

I am working with a leading Housing Association who are looking for a Lead Fire and Security Engineer to cover the Devon locality.

You will be provided with a van and fuel card for business use.

Duties include:

• Audit external contractors' Fire & Security (F&S) certifications and assess 10% of their on-site tasks.


• Conduct safety and technical audits on F&S Engineers and contractors, including site validations, pre and post-inspections.


• Utilize expertise to document and report on the status and condition of fire and security equipment encountered during periodic inspections and minor works/installations.


• Tasks include testing, servicing, and installing Fire Systems, Emergency Lighting, AOV, and CCTV.


• Identify faults and perform repairs/installations for Door Entry, Door Access, and Door Operators.

You will require:

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience


• F.I.A or equivalent certifications


• Ideally, electrical qualification, though not essential


• Desirable: Proven industry experience in fire systems, door entry, and access control
