Maintenance Systems Engineer - Portsmouth - £55,000/year

This is a great opportunity to join a thriving Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Systems Engineer.

In this role, you will establish and manage maintenance systems using a CMMS to ensure optimal reliability of bespoke manufacturing equipment.

In addition, you will constantly driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the team.

Requirements:

• Lead the setup, configuration, and optimisation of the CMMS tailored to the specific needs of bespoke manufacturing equipment.
  
  Ensure comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules are established and maintained.


• Create and standardise detailed maintenance procedures for all equipment to a high standard, ensuring they are thorough, clear, and easily executable.


• Design and implement comprehensive training programs for maintenance staff, focusing on the use of the CMMS, specific maintenance procedures, and best practices.


• Support maintenance team in the use of continuous improvement tools and support improvements in maintenance processes aimed at improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Requirements:

• Education - Bachelor's degree or HND in industry related engineering field.


• Experience of maintenance engineering with a strong emphasis on CMMS implementation and management.


• Experience production equipment maintenance, Electrical and mechanical within a related industry.
  
  5+ yrs.


• Experienced in the application of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
