Location: Greenford

Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum

Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite.

9-day working fortnight option available with every other Friday off and early finish on Fridays.

Job Description:

My client is seeking a detail-oriented Goods In Inspector to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team.

This is an exciting role where you will monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials, ensuring they meet our company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspection: Conduct tests, analyse measurements, and oversee production processes.


• Compliance: Ensure materials and equipment are inspected and handled according to UM company operating standards, preventing in-house damage.


• Documentation: Maintain documentation controls supporting Goods Inwards Inspection processes.


• Continuous Improvement: Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Technical Skills: Conduct Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections and support the management of calibration tools.


• Reporting: Report all non-conformance (NC) issues in the MRB platform and manage the return of defective items to suppliers/vendors for rework or replacement.

Operator Roles:

• Work under the guidance of a supervisor to perform operations duties safely and effectively.


• Complete assigned duties in a timely manner.


• Perform a range of clearly defined procedures and resolve routine issues without supervisory approval.


• Develop skills through formal training and on-the-job experience.
