Occupational Therapist

Service Care Solutions are working with Southwest London & St Georges NHS Trust to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support the PICU Ward.

The successful candidate will provide support to patients with a range of Mental and Physical Health conditions in line with the occupational therapy pathways.

Job Purpose - Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex
Pay: £28.00 p/h LTD + £250 Sign-Up Bonus
Contract: 3 Month Locum (likelihood of extension)

Key Responsibilities

• To provide a high-quality service by a dedicated team for patients referred to the PICU Ward.


• Postholder will provide high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members, in line with the occupational therapy pathways.


• To promote social inclusion and physical and mental well-being using evidence-based practice.
  
  This is underpinned by the principles of hope and recovery, health promotion and relapse prevention.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy qualification


• HCPC Registration


• Experience working within a Mental Health Environment
