Underwriting Assistant (Marine) - London - Permanent - £30,000

An opportunity has arisen with a leading marine insurance company for an Underwriting Assistant to join their busy team.

This will be a relatively junior position in the team and duties will involve administrative assistance for the underwriting of P&I, FD&D and war risk insurance on behalf of policy holders and brokers.

You will assist the underwriters with full range of underwriting services from new enquiries, amendments and cancellations through to renewals.

This role is suitable for a recent graduate, ideally that has studied maritime law so they have a good basis of knowledge about marine insurance matters and applicants should have a long term interest in working within insurance underwriting.
