Caretaker

Service Care Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker for a client in the Wood Green area of North London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  
  
  
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  
  
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
  
  
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks).
  
  
  
  


• Health and Safety:
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  
  
  • Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards or security issues.
  
  
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
  
  
  
  


• Security:
  
  
  
  • Monitor the security of the premises, including locking/unlocking doors and windows.
  
  
  • Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  
  
  
  


• Customer Service:
  
  
  
  • Provide a friendly and approachable presence for residents and visitors.
  
  
  • Address and resolve any maintenance-related queries or concerns promptly.
  
  
  
  


• Inventory Management:
  
  
  
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.
  
  
  • Order and restock supplies as necessary.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role is preferred.


• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.


• Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Working hours:

• 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
