Audit & Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice)

Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire

Salary: £48k - £50k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to meet diverse needs.

The Role:

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be preparing client accounts, undertaking audits, and managing tax returns.

Responsibilities:



* Provide input on personal tax returns.


* Prepare year-end journals for clients accountancy systems.


* Handle VAT calculations and returns.


* Produce management accounts within deadlines.


* Conduct client meetings as needed.


* Support and develop junior team members.


* Identify additional value opportunities for clients.


Requirements:



* Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Accounts Senior or in a similar role.


* At least 1-3 years of practice experience.


* Minimum 1 year of audit experience.


* Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.


* Understanding of practice-based accountancy.


* Skilled in IT.


* Strong team working and communication skills.


* Right to work in the UK.
