Behaviour Mentor must be able to work Full Time


Salary: £95 -£140 a day depending on experience as a Behaviour Mentor

Teach Plus are currently working with a mainstream primary school within the Barnet area.

They support children, parents, and staff to achieve anything and create an atmosphere of respect where friendships, integrity, and resilience make up their key values.

They aim to guide children to keep themselves safe, stay confident, become independent learners, and celebrate all differences.


This school's goal is for every pupil to reach their dreams while under their care and would support all pupils to achieve to their full potential.


As a behaviour mentor you will be expected to support pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour.

For this role you need to patient, empathetic, supportive, and passionate to support pupils to achieve to their full potential.



As a Behaviour Mentor you will be required to:



  • Assisting with identifying pupils in need of support

  • Conducting one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupils

  • Develop strategies for pupils to better manage their behaviour

  • Drawing up action plans for learners

  • Liaising with SENCos

  • Keeping track of pupil progress and monitoring behaviour

  • Organising lunchtime activities for pupils who display challenging behaviour during breaks

  • Supporting liaisons with families



The ideal candidate for a Behaviour Mentor will have:



  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN

  • Be able to support with challenging behaviour

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service

  • Right to work within the UK

  • Work full time

  • Overseas criminal clearance
