Calibration Tech

Hyper Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a global CDMO/OEM who are looking for a Calibration Technician to come & work on some of their leading projects, based in New Jersey.

Working on assignments that range in size & complexity, you will lead the team, as well as the tasks assigned to drive performance & output to create success within the Engineering division.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Calibration Technician will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:

- Perform scheduled instrument calibration at customer sites and in pharma division.

Instrument calibrations are to be done in accordance with written calibration procedures.
- Add calibration records to database and prepare calibration certificates.

Maintain database records up to date.


- Proactively follow schedule for Pharma division and customer equipment calibration.

Coordinate calibration activities with Pharma division.


- Make travel arrangements for customer visits according to the schedule.

Arrange for all the items necessary for the upcoming calibrations.


- Prepare documents of field visits in a timely and professional manner.

This will include calibration reports, field reports, daily labor logs and expense reports
- Maintain current certification of all individual and departmental NIST traceable calibration standards.
- Ability to travel up to 80% to customer sites in surrounding areas

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Calibration Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:

- BSc in an Engineering technology
- Hands on previous experience performing calibration on instrumentation an/or PLC systems
- calibration experience with temperature, air flow, pressure and moisture sensing instrumentation
- Knowledge of OSHA and NEC/NFPA guidelines required; ARC Flash training will be required.
