Senior Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunity?

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in the North of Scotland, near Inverness.



As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior team members, and providing support across various departments including sales, business development, and project execution in the hygienic processing sectors such as Brewing, Distilling, Pharmaceutical, and Food.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Electrical Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.

Assist other Electrical Engineers on projects to deliver required engineering outputs.
2.

Support the quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy of deliverables necessary for the completion of assigned projects.
3.

Assist the Senior Electrical Engineer on projects responsible for all aspects from cost management, design/engineering deliverables, site supervision, and commissioning.
4.

Support the management of electrical installation contracts on time and budget including tender preparation, negotiation, and award.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.

Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2.

Proven industry experience in engineering within batch processes in the hygienic process industries.
3.

A working knowledge and practical experience with AutoCAD, ePlan, and other bespoke engineering software packages.
