About the role/school
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and inclusive four-form entry primary school in Hayes, Middlesex.
Established in 2013, the school caters for children aged 4 to 11 and places great importance on its core values of service to others, humility, achievement, respect, and equality.
In 2021, the school moved into a new building boasting state-of-the-art facilities, including a main hall, gym, dance studio, computing suite, cooking room, and a 3G astroturf pitch—creating the perfect environment for a SEN Teaching Assistant to help pupils thrive.
Following its Ofsted inspection in November 2024, the school was rated ‘Good' across all areas including Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Early Years Provision.

Job Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support children across the school with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Deliver tailored interventions to small groups of pupils with Speech and Language Difficulties, Autism, and other SEND.
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals to ensure individual learning plans are followed.
Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to support both the mental and physical health of pupils.
Contribute to the school's ethos by promoting respect, equality, and achievement for all learners.

Qualifications/Experience
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
Experience supporting children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children
