About the role/school

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and inclusive four-form entry primary school in Hayes, Middlesex.

Established in 2013, the school caters for children aged 4 to 11 and places great importance on its core values of service to others, humility, achievement, respect, and equality.


In 2021, the school moved into a new building boasting state-of-the-art facilities, including a main hall, gym, dance studio, computing suite, cooking room, and a 3G astroturf pitch—creating the perfect environment for a SEN Teaching Assistant to help pupils thrive.

Job Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:




  • Support children across the school with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).




  • Deliver tailored interventions to small groups of pupils with Speech and Language Difficulties, Autism, and other SEND.




  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals to ensure individual learning plans are followed.




  • Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to support both the mental and physical health of pupils.




  • Contribute to the school's ethos by promoting respect, equality, and achievement for all learners.

Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Experience supporting children with SEND (preferred but not essential)




  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children
