Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner

A leading, well-established hospital is seeking a Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join its theatre team, supporting the delivery of high-quality elective surgical care.

Working within a modern perioperative environment, you will be part of a skilled and supportive team delivering a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, including joint replacements and complex cases.

In this role, you will take a senior position within the scrub team, supporting complex procedures, maintaining high clinical standards, and mentoring junior staff.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient theatre practice while contributing to service improvement and team development.

This is a permanent position.

Full and Part-time hours will be considered.

Person specification:


  • NMC registered RN Adult or HCPC registered ODP
  • Significant experience within orthopaedic scrub
  • Strong understanding of perioperative practice and patient safety
  • Ability to travel independently to site, with access to a car required due to limited public transport options.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK at the time of application (please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
