Client Reporting Onboarding Associate

Job Description:

Core-Asset Consulting is working with a leading global asset manager to recruit a Client Reporting Onboarding Associate in Edinburgh.

This opportunity sits within a dynamic and evolving reporting function, focused on delivering high-quality investment reporting solutions to meet both client and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and implementation of sophisticated reporting outputs, while supporting ongoing transformation initiatives, including the enhancement of systems, controls, and processes.

• Experience within financial services, with exposure to reporting, onboarding, or change delivery


• Strong technical and data capability, with experience working across data ecosystems


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI


• Experience with VBA, SQL, and/or Python is advantageous


• Demonstrated business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and process documentation is beneficial


• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy and control


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Self-motivated, organised, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Design and implement complex client reporting solutions, including performance, attribution, investment commentary, and risk analytics


• Support the onboarding of new reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory standards


• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, data, and business teams to deliver reporting and change initiatives


• Translate business and client requirements into effective reporting processes and outputs


• Maintain robust control frameworks, including data validation, audit trails, and quality assurance checks


• Contribute to process improvements, including the adoption of automation and AI-driven solutions
