Tekla Detailer

A leading structural steel & architectural metalwork contractor based in Belfast is currently looking for two permanent Tekla Detailers to work with the team of 20 detailers, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality 3D models and fabrication drawings for major projects across the UK and Ireland.

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 39 hours per week (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Thu | 8:40 AM - 4:00 PM Fri)
Location: Belfast (County Down)

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures.


• Detailing a mix of structural steelwork (60%) and architectural metalwork (40%).


• Generating high-quality General Arrangements (GAs), assembly drawings, and individual part drawings.


• Collaborating with a team of 20 other detailers to ensure consistent standards and project delivery.


• Interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to ensure technical accuracy.


• Liaising with internal production and site teams to resolve technical queries.

Requirements:

• Essential: Proven experience as a Detailer/Draughtsman using Tekla Structures.


• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and architectural metalwork detailing.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced design office.


• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
