We are seeking a passionate and people-focused Café & Breakfast Manager to lead two distinctive food & beverage concepts within one of Amsterdam's most innovative hospitality destinations.

You'll oversee daily café and breakfast operations, inspire a dynamic team, and create an environment where both guests and colleagues feel welcome and valued.

Your impact

• Lead the day-to-day operations of two unique hospitality concepts, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from morning through service.
• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of authenticity, accountability, and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and community-focused atmosphere.
• Use commercial insights and performance data to improve guest satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality standards across all operations.

What you'll do

• Be a visible, hands-on leader, setting the standard for service excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talented hospitality professionals through coaching and mentoring.
• Manage labour, costs, stock, and operational performance to achieve financial targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and support events where required.
• Analyse business performance and implement initiatives to increase revenue and operational efficiency.
• Create an environment where guests return because of the atmosphere, service, and genuine hospitality.

Who you are

• Proven experience leading café, breakfast, restaurant, or all-day dining operations within hospitality.
• A confident people manager with a coaching leadership style and a passion for developing teams.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and operational KPIs.
• Calm under pressure, highly organised, and able to balance operational excellence with outstanding guest experiences.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Hands-on, energetic, and passionate about creating memorable hospitality experiences.
