We're partnered with a busy, high-energy Asian American restaurant in Washington, DC looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their culinary leadership team.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced operation where quality, consistency, and strong leadership are key.

We're looking for a Chef who enjoys being in the kitchen, developing their team, and helping drive a smooth and successful service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Head Chef Chef with all day-to-day kitchen operations
• Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and execution
• Working stations and jumping in wherever needed during busy services
• Managing prep, production, ordering, and inventory
• Training and developing cooks while maintaining high culinary standards
• Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Helping maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy kitchen culture

What We're Looking For

• Previous Sous Chef or strong culinary leadership experience
• Experience in busy, full-service restaurant environments
• Strong background in Asian, Asian-American, or similar globally inspired cuisine is an asset
• Understanding of ordering, inventory, labour, and food cost
• Passionate about food, quality, and consistency
