Human Resources Manager

Location: New York, NY
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a well-established hospitality group that’s looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their New York team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, supporting managers, and helping create a great workplace.

About You

• 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurants, or a fast-paced service environment.
• Previous experience overseeing HR responsibilities and supporting hourly teams.
• Comfortable handling employee relations, workplace concerns, and sensitive situations.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices.
• A great communicator who builds trust and strong relationships.
• Organized, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Someone who enjoys being visible and involved rather than sitting behind a desk.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Available to work onsite 5 days a week in New York.

What You’ll Do

• Be the go-to HR partner for employees and managers across the business.
• Support managers with employee relations, performance conversations, investigations, and day-to-day people issues.
• Oversee key HR processes including onboarding, benefits, leave, compensation, and offboarding.
• Help ensure the business stays compliant with employment laws and internal policies.
• Support hiring and help build initiatives around engagement, recognition, and retention.
• Assist with training, workplace safety, and employee development.
• Provide practical HR guidance to leadership and help create a positive, consistent employee experience.
