My client is a growing, entrepreneurial leisure business combining high-quality F&B, indoor and outdoor experiences, events and family-focused activities.

This is a new role to come in add value across this site, look at all areas of the business and how you can elevate this, with a strong focus on Food and Beverage and the events side of the business, it can be a bit seasonal at times.

This is a unique operation with a strong focus on creating a great day-out experience, with F&B playing a major part in the overall customer journey.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a senior operator who can take ownership of the operation and help shape its next stage.

The Operations Manager brief

• Overall operational responsibility across F&B, leisure and events
• Full P&L and commercial responsibility
• Lead, develop and motivate the operational team
• Drive food, drink and service standards across the business
• Oversee both indoor and outdoor dining/customer areas
• Lead events, seasonal activity, private functions and busy trading periods
• Look at ways to develop the F&B offer and maximise revenue opportunities
• Work closely with the owners on growth, new ideas and future development
• Responsibility for customer experience, compliance, maintenance and operational standards

Who We’re Looking For

We want a strong F&B-led operator rather than someone purely from the a pub OR leisure sector.

Ideally someone who has worked in a destination pub, premium pub with gardens/land, outdoor dining concept, farm shop, leisure venue or similar hospitality-led business.

You’ll need strong commercial experience, a hands-on approach and an entrepreneurial mindset, someone who sees opportunities and gets things done.

The business sits within the adventure playground/leisure world, but the key is someone who genuinely understands F&B, outdoor hospitality and delivering a great customer experience.

Salary £80,000 – £85,000 | Berkshire
