About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming primary school in West London that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of EYFS to support children's learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing school environment.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to provide high-quality learning support and help children reach their full potential.

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit a qualified Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner or Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children.

The school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils, work effectively alongside teaching staff and provide consistent support across the EYFS setting.

Job Responsibilities

· Support pupils across the EYFS setting with their learning, development and day-to-day activities
· Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
· Develop positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
· Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support based on individual learning and developmental needs
· Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
· Observe and record children's progress, sharing relevant information with the class teacher and wider team

Qualifications/Experience

· Minimum CACHE Level 3 in EYFS Childcare
· Experience as a Teaching Assistant/Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role
· Strong EYFS knowledge
· Minimum of 3 months UK experience
· Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
· Right to work in the UK
