An opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join an independent chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, providing accountancy, audit, tax, corporate finance, financial planning and payroll services to businesses and individuals.

As an Audit Senior, you will be supporting and leading audit assignments while developing your experience across accounts, taxation and wider advisory work.

This role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £42,000 negotiable for the right candidate and benefits.

You will be responsible for:



* Managing audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME clients.


* Reviewing financial statements and checking compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.


* Working on group audits, including consolidated financial statements.


* Preparing financial statements, including group accounts.


* Producing tax computations in line with applicable tax requirements.


* Working alongside senior team members to ensure accounts and audit work are completed accurately.


The candidates from the following background will be considered:



* Audit Senior, Audit Supervisor, Audit & Accounts Senior, Accounts & Audit Senior, Audit Accountant or in a similar role.


What we are looking for:



* Strong practical audit experience.


* Qualified audit professional.


* Good to have 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.


* A sound understanding of accounting and tax requirements.


* Right to work in the UK
