Group General Manager – Premium Dining
Location: South West, with travel to London
Salary: £70,000–£90,000 plus bonus

I’m looking for a Group General Manager to lead up to five premium restaurants across the South West and London.

This is a growing, owner-led group with individual concepts, strong foundations and plenty of ambition.

You’ll work closely with the owners and site GMs, bringing the team together, strengthening performance and making sure the detail is right in every restaurant.

You’ll need to love being in the restaurants, supporting your managers and leading from the floor, while keeping a clear view of the numbers.

The role:

• Oversee day-to-day performance across up to five premium restaurants
• Support and develop the GMs, giving them clear direction and accountability
• Drive service standards, guest experience and consistency while protecting each restaurant’s identity
• Bring the structure and attention to detail expected in Michelin-standard environments
• Take ownership of financial performance, budgets and cost control across the group
• Build strong teams, with a focus on retention, development and succession
• Improve systems and processes as the business grows
• Work closely with the owners on restaurant performance and future plans

The person:

• An experienced Group GM, multi-site leader or Senior GM ready to take the next step
• A strong premium dining background, ideally within Michelin-standard or similarly exacting restaurants
• Commercially confident and comfortable taking ownership of the P&L
• A visible, hands-on leader who still gets a kick out of service
• Able to coach, challenge and bring out the best in your managers
• Experience within an owner-operated business would be a real advantage
• Ambitious, collaborative and comfortable travelling between the South West and London
