About the Role

Are you an experienced facilities leader ready to take on a major new project in Paris?

We’re looking for an Associate VP of Facilities to lead building operations for an ambitious new immersive entertainment attraction opening in late 2027.

This is a unique opportunity to help develop a landmark destination from the early stages, building a high-performing technical team and overseeing the facilities, engineering and maintenance strategy.

Working closely with senior leadership and external partners, you’ll ensure the building operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, supporting a world-class visitor experience.

The Role

• Lead all facilities operations, including engineering, building services, maintenance and electrical systems.
• Recruit and build a high-performing team of engineers, technicians and specialist service providers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, building systems, infrastructure and operational readiness.
• Manage the Building Management System (BMS), with a focus on performance and energy efficiency.
• Lead facilities budgets, cost control, capital investments and operational expenditure.
• Manage vendor contracts and relationships with the landlord and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with French and EU regulations, health and safety standards, and emergency procedures.
• Oversee cleaning, plumbing, electrical and other facilities services, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
• Lead staff training, development, performance management and safety preparedness.
• Coordinate facilities support for exhibitions, events and public programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve building performance, sustainability and cost efficiency.

About You

• Around 10 years of experience in facilities management, engineering or building operations within a large, complex environment.
• A Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Proven leadership experience, including recruiting, developing and managing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance strategies, health and safety, and emergency procedures.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors, service agreements and capital projects.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems and energy optimisation.
• Experience in entertainment, hospitality or another high-traffic, customer-facing environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• A hands-on, solutions-focused leader who enjoys building teams and taking ownership.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
