Supply Chain Manager - 12 Month FTC

Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager looking for your next challenge?


We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join as a Stock & Materials Project Lead on a 12-month fixed-term basis.


About the Role:


In this role, you will manage the supply chain, key accounts, and provide analysis for the Property Services division, focusing on warehouse and van stock management and optimisation.

You will be based from any of the offices across the South, combining office and home working to ensure a positive work-life balance.

The role involves travel across the regions, so a driving licence and access to a car are required.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Implement effective management of materials, plant hire, and equipment, providing professional service to operational teams.

  • Proactively manage supplier relationships to strengthen service delivery.

  • Lead the van stock optimisation project to enhance productivity.

  • Oversee stock management projects, ensuring protocols for full visibility and audit trails.

  • Monitor and maintain an effective catalogue management system for all suppliers.

  • Assess price increases and provide impact analysis for budget holders and managers.

  • Identify and manage supply chain risks, ensuring actions and checks are in place to mitigate them.


What We're Looking For:



  • Ideally hold a MCIPS Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or relevant professional qualification.

  • Demonstrable experience in supply chain management in a building environment with a track record of delivering value for money savings.

  • Knowledge or experience in warehouse and stock management is desirable.

  • Good understanding of contract management with a commercial background.

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.

  • Highly numerate and articulate with strong financial acumen.

  • Strong understanding of and responsibility for governance and risk management of supply contracts.
