Things you will be doing as a Banqueting Chef:
- Report to the Executive Chef
- Assist the Executive Chef in banquet menu development and execution.
- Planning, organising and directing the work in the Banquet Kitchen Department.
- Overseeing the food preparation and catering event while ensuring quality and consistency at all times.
- Monitor the performance and ensure all procedures are completed to department standards.
- Participates in training staff on menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods and unique tastes.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- Experience as a Banqueting Chef or an Event Head Chef in a Hotel
- Able to plan and execute multiple banquet functions.
- Knowledge of current and updated culinary trends.
- Ability to lead and mentor a large team of culinary professionals
- Have an eye and attention to detail.
- Great management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
