Assistant Food & Beverage Manager - Malta

Our client is a top hotel resort in Malta, with beautifully designed bedrooms, multiple food and drinks offerings including international buffet and high-end restaurant; Cocktail lounge outlets; private dining; leisure and fitness; seeking a talented Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join their team.

The position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager :

As F&B manager you will be responsible

• The smooth running of the day-to-day operation and planning for successful operation.
• To achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
• Organize and supervise shifts, motivate the team
• Assist the F&B Manager with the team planning and development of the team
• Support and participate to the success of the overall Hotel/Resort as part of the Management team
• During events coordinate with the F&B operations and the events department.
• Ensure the implementation, controlling and monitoring of Food Safety Management System; HACCP Policy; and other specific regulations.
• Be actively involved in the outlets’ promotional activities, discussing new ideas to increase revenues and tempt the guests’ imagination
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Regularly review product and service quality.

The profile we are looking for :

• Must have 2 to 3 years in a similar position as Assistant F&B Manager or similar
• Background : International branded Hotel or Resort ; Cruise ship experience
• Previous All-Inclusive experience is welcomed
• Experience in managing various type of F&B outlets including buffets, table service, events service, etc
• Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious, dynamic, self-motivated Food & Beverage professional
• Computer literate
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
