Senior Event Manager, Midlands, up to 40k

Are you an experienced event management professional with a passion for delivering high-impact events? I am working with my client who are a fantastic event finding and event production services company and they are looking for a Senior Event Manager to be based at one of their clients’ sites, where you will be responsible for leading and executing their diverse portfolio of events.

This will include a variety of internal and external events

Please note this is a 10 month maternity cover position.

Main Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end management of high-profile events, from initial concept to execution and post-event analysis.
• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics to ensure the seamless delivery of each event.
• Compiling & presenting proposals
• Working closely with venues that fit the clients requirments
• Supporting regular media and VIP events on-site and at the client’s sublots to offer full event management (which may include regular time away from home and overnight stays)

Skills and Experience

• End to end Event management experience from an event agency or corporate site is essential
• Proven experience in managing events, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing a variety of stakeholders
• Be comfortable working within the client’s office three days a week
• Must have a full clean driving license and be able to travel on a regular basis
