Senior Event Manager, 10 Month Maternity Cover Contract,  Midlands, up to 40k

Are you an experienced event management professional with a passion for delivering high-impact events? I am working with my client who are a fantastic event finding and event production services company and they are looking for a Senior Event Manager to be based at one of their clients’ sites, where you will be responsible for leading and executing their diverse portfolio of events.

This will include a variety of internal and external events

Main Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end management of high-profile events, from initial concept to execution and post-event analysis.
• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics to ensure the seamless delivery of each event.
• Creating & presenting proposals
• Working closely with venues that fit the clients requirements
• Supporting regular media and VIP events on-site and at the client’s other sites to offer full event management (which may include regular time away from home and overnight stays)
• Please note at least 2-3 days per week you will be based in Coleshill.  1 day WFH  and 1 day would be travelling to their head office in Swindon.  This will also entail travelling to visit various construction sites within mainly the Midlands and London areas.

Skills and Experience

• End to end Event management experience from an event agency or corporate site is essential
• Event experience from a constrution background is desirbale but not essential 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Be comfortable working within the client’s office three days a week
• Must have a full clean driving license and be able to travel on a regular basis
